Creating a Recording in the Conference Room
Your conference room can be used as a recording studio, with or without an audience.

Step 1- With microphone positioned, and talk key locked, you are ready to record.
- From menu bar, click on Recording
- Click on Start Recording
- Keyboard shortcut is Alt + R keys

Step 2 - The checkmark now appears in front of the words "Start Recording" to indicate that the recorder in running. You will also see "Record" in the lower right corner of your screen in the status bar.

Step 3 - Occasionally, while recording, you may need to stop and gather your thoughts, or look up something on your computer. You can pause the recording in these 2 ways.
- Simply hold down the Alt Key and press "P" on your keyboard, or
- From menu bar, press Recording and then Pause Recording
- In the lower right corner of the screen, you will now see "Paused" instead of "Record"
When ready to begin recording again, repeat the above process to turn the recording on again.

Step 4- When finished, stop the recording by:
- From menu bar, click on Recording
- Click on Start Recording to "toggle" it, or turn it off
- When pulling it back up, you will see that the checkmark is gone
- Also the "Record" in the status bar will disappear
