Step 1- When you need to leave the web conference room open on your computer, but don't want it taking space on your task bar, you can hide it. This is especially helpful when you are using your conference room as a virtual office or you're "on-call" for live support.
- From the Menu Bar, click on View
- Click on Hide When Minimized
- Checkmark indicates that it will now appear in your Sys Tray by the clock instead of in the Taskbar at the bottom of your screen, when you minimize the application window.
- If your sound effects are enabled, when someone enters the room, you will be alerted.
Step 2a- This graphic indicates what you will see when "Hide When Minimized" has been selected.
Step 2b- If you do not actually minimize the conference room window, it will show up in both the task bar and the "sys tray" as you see above.
Step 3- To disable this feature and allow the room to set in the taskbar, repeat the procedure from Step 1 as follows:
From the Menu Bar, click on View
Click on Hide When Minimized
Checkmark disappears indicating that it will not reside in the Sys Tray by the clock when minimized.
Step 4- To bring up the conference room window from the icon in the Sys tray:
- Right click on the icon
- A pop-up box as shown above will appear
- Choose Restore to bring the conference room into full view
- Choose Exit to close the conference room
- Double-clicking on the icon will also restore to full size
