Step 1- This feature would be used when the participant or moderator wants to use the Control key for copy & paste or other functions without queueing up to speak. Each time that you press the Control key, it appears that you are raising your hand to speak. To stop that, follow the directions below.
- From the Menu Bar, click on Actions
- Click on Disable Talk Key
- A checkmark will appear
- The keyboard shortcut for this feature is Alt-D

Step 2- In the status bar, you will see the words "Talk Key Off" to let you know that you've disabled the talk key.

Step 3- To be able to speak again and enable your "Talk Key" or control key, repeat the initial process.
- From the Menu Bar, click on Actions
- Click on Disable Talk Key
- A checkmark will now disappear
- The keyboard shortcut for this feature is again Alt-D to turn off
- Note that the words "Talk Key Off" in the status bar are gone
